Particular care has been taken to make the French Archives Nationales web portal accessible to as many people as possible, particularly the visually impaired. The site will change progressively over time.
We are committed to improving access to its content to ensure there is no discrimination or inequality in access to information. The html version complies with W3C standards (xhtml 1.0 Transitional) and French administration internet service accessibility guidelines.

Site navigation
You can navigate using the Tab key:
- Pressing the Tab key once selects the next link on the page.
- Pressing Shift-Tab once selects the previous link on the page.
Pressing Return once you have selected a link opens it
Pressing the Tab key when on a page brings up a menu at the top, giving direct access to page zones via the Up and Down arrows to scroll through the page content.
